Fusion Care

Warranty claim
terms.

Coverage, exclusions and the process used to evaluate a Fusion Energy battery claim.

Before making a claimRegister

Keep the original invoice, product serial number and installation information available.

1. Warranty coverage

Subject to these terms and the warranty period stated on the invoice, approved warranty registration or product documentation, Fusion Energy warrants that the covered product will be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use within its specified electrical, environmental and installation limits.

The warranty period and permitted usage can differ by model, application and order. The written period supplied with the product controls; these terms do not create a separate fixed warranty duration.

2. Who may claim

The claim must be made by the original purchaser or another person accepted by Fusion Energy, with valid proof of purchase. The product model, serial number and warranty label must be identifiable, genuine and unaltered. Warranty registration may be required for faster verification.

3. What the warranty may cover

  • A verified manufacturing defect in the battery assembly, enclosure, supplied connector or integrated BMS.
  • A failure occurring during normal use within the published voltage, current, temperature and application limits.
  • Repair or replacement of a defective covered component following technical inspection.

4. General exclusions

The warranty does not cover failure, degradation or damage caused by an external event, misuse, incorrect application, unauthorized work or operation outside the product specification. Exclusions include, without limitation:

Water and moisture

Water ingress, rain, flooding, condensation, washing, immersion, corrosion or moisture damage, unless the product was expressly sold for the exact exposure and used within its stated IP rating.

Short circuit

External short circuit, bridged terminals, damaged insulation, conductive debris, incorrect wiring or unprotected tools contacting terminals.

Reverse polarity

Positive and negative connections reversed at the battery, charger, inverter, controller, motor or connected equipment.

Incorrect charging

Use of an incompatible, defective or incorrectly configured charger, inverter, controller or charging profile; overcharge or charging outside the stated temperature range.

Overload

Continuous or peak current above specification, oversized loads, stalled motors, excessive inrush current, unsuitable inverter demand or bypassing protective devices.

Over-discharge

Deep discharge beyond specified limits, leaving a battery discharged for an extended period or failure to recharge during storage.

Heat and fire

Exposure to fire, excessive ambient temperature, direct high heat, poor ventilation, thermal damage or installation near a heat source.

Physical damage

Impact, crushing, puncture, vibration outside specification, dropping, vehicle accident, mishandling or unsafe transport.

Unauthorized work

Opening the enclosure, replacing cells, changing BMS settings, modifying wiring, welding, soldering, repairing or altering the product without written authorization.

Installation faults

Loose terminals, undersized cables, inadequate fusing, unsuitable connectors, poor ventilation, incorrect series or parallel connection, or failure to follow installation instructions.

Environmental causes

Lightning, surge, flood, fire, pests, chemicals, salt exposure, dust beyond rating, natural disaster or unstable external power systems.

Identification

Removed, damaged, altered or unreadable serial numbers, warranty seals, labels, QR codes or manufacturing identification.

5. Capacity and normal wear

Lithium batteries naturally lose some capacity with age, cycles, temperature and usage. Normal capacity reduction, cosmetic wear, minor variation in displayed state of charge and performance changes consistent with product age are not manufacturing defects. Any capacity threshold specifically promised for a product will be assessed using Fusion Energy’s documented test method.

6. Products and costs not covered

Unless required by applicable law or agreed in writing, the warranty does not cover connected equipment, lost data, vehicle recovery, installation removal, reinstallation, technician travel, business interruption, lost profit, substitute power, third-party labour or consequential loss.

7. Claim procedure

  1. Stop using the battery if it is hot, swollen, leaking, smoking, mechanically damaged or otherwise unsafe. Isolate it only if safe to do so.
  2. Contact Fusion Energy before opening, repairing, shipping or altering the product.
  3. Provide the purchaser’s name and phone, invoice, serial number, model, purchase date and warranty registration ID if available.
  4. Provide installation photographs, wiring details, charger/inverter/controller model and settings, load information, fault codes, voltage readings and a clear video of the issue where safe.
  5. Follow remote diagnostic steps reasonably requested by Fusion Energy.
  6. If instructed, deliver or ship the product using the provided lithium-battery safety and packing instructions.

8. Inspection and diagnosis

Fusion Energy may inspect physical condition, seals, event data, BMS history, voltages, configuration, connected-equipment compatibility and installation evidence. Submission of a product does not automatically mean the claim is approved. If no covered defect is found, or an excluded cause is identified, reasonable inspection, transport or repair costs may be quoted to the customer before non-warranty work proceeds.

9. Warranty remedy

For an approved claim, Fusion Energy may, at its reasonable option, repair the covered product, replace a defective component, provide an equivalent replacement product or apply another remedy required by applicable law. Replacement parts or products may be new or serviceable equivalents with comparable function. A replacement does not restart the original warranty period unless confirmed in writing or required by law.

10. Safe handling

Do not use, charge, transport or ship an unsafe battery without instructions.

If the battery is swollen, leaking, punctured, smoking, unusually hot or has been involved in fire, flooding or a severe short circuit, move away from it, keep people clear and contact appropriate emergency assistance where necessary.

12. Applicable rights

These terms are intended to operate alongside applicable laws in Pakistan. Nothing in them excludes or limits a consumer right, warranty or remedy that cannot legally be excluded or limited. If a provision conflicts with mandatory law, that law will apply to the extent of the conflict.
